Steven, you can always hold til the lower red resistance zone mentioned above. It just may take more time and could have more volatile dips along the way there.

I’m only up about 6%, should I still sell?

Hey Sean. I’m still underwater on this one. My breakeven is $21.93. I believe this was one that got caught in the transition from UW to LI. If I read the chart correctly this had been in a range from May 2019 until Jan of this year and appears to be in a wave 1 up. From another chart it looks like the RSI is strengthening and the MAC may be as well (your latest chart also shows MACD firming with a buy signal).  Should I hang onto this one for a while. I remember your mantra of long, boring ranges turning into strong uptrends.  I appreciate your advice. I have learned a ton from you in the decade I have been with you.

See my comments to Jerry from today, on the previous page, along with my charts from today. The same would apply to you as applies to him.

Yeah, the knowledge of “long, boring ranges breaks out into long, strong trends” is a great revelation from Wall Street pros…because a retail investor would just see a “dead” stock that’s going nowhere with no future expected for the stock.

Thanks Sean. I’m still in it at $27.55. Hope it goes to your charts resistant level.

    Well, it’s up almost 27% today. So, that’s a good start. ha-ha.

But yes, you may have to hold out for that higher resistance zone that likely gets hit over time.

    From Seeking Alpha:
Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) surged 19%, and Sanofi (SNY) rose 4.5% after their experimental antibody therapy, duvakitug, met primary goals in a Phase 3 trial for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). Data from the RELIEVE UCCD Phase 2b study showed significant clinical improvements: ~48% and ~36% of UC patients achieved clinical remission with high and low doses, respectively, versus ~20% on placebo, while ~48% and ~26% of CD patients experienced endoscopic responses compared to ~13% on placebo. The therapy was well tolerated with no safety signals, and the companies plan to advance it to a Phase 3 program pending regulatory feedback. Teva’s medical chief, Eric Hughes, highlighted the potential to improve IBD patients’ quality of life, while Sanofi’s R&D head, Houman Ashrafian, noted its promise as a differentiated treatment for those urgently needing new options.

Yep, I posted about it this morning and it ended up like 26-27% at one point today.

TEVA is likely well into the latter stages of wave 3, with (at some point) a wave 4 pullback and likely a sizable wave 5 higher to go. All of that can take some time to playout since we’re on weekly charts.

I am still down considerably. Should I sell or hold?

    Thank you !

Why sell when its trending higher and I showed charts pointing to eventual higher highs over time?

You’d hold. See my previous commentary and charts from yesterday.

I don’t know what considerably is…but surely getting to the higher red resistance on those previous charts would get you where you need to be.

As much detail as you can offer allows me to to tailor a response much better just to your situation specifically.

TEVA continues to build upon yesterday’s huge gains, up about 30% in just over a day.

At some point, there could be a huge % pullback before its next major rally higher. That can all take some time to unfold.
