Wanted to share this story. Many of you will recall we had the stock Petrobras years ago with Sean. You may also recall the corrupt scandal they had politically with their leadership and the president of their country. Although I ended up doing decent on the stock itself over time, we did have some ups and downs. Ironically, a large lawsuit was initiated, and all shareholders were invited to participate. I’d never done something like this in past but decided why not, maybe I’ll get some money back. It was a little work to download some stock information and fill out their claim forms, but it ended up being fantastic. I received 4 checks over the last 3 or 4 years since being in it and total received was about $1,500.00! Not bad for a little paperwork and patience.
Hope this helps anyone who’s maybe been on the fence on these things in past. Doesn’t happen often though.
