    HI Sean,
    What you think about the ETFs like SPHD , as a side growth and saving tool.
    I know we make some good profits here in LI but this would be like a second retirement plan.

    It got overvalued and fell just as hard as everything else in the last correction. No, I would not suggest it.

    Here’s the problem: If you gain 50 cents in dividends but you lose $5 in depreciation…did you really gain anything? No.

    Now…if it wasn’t overvalued/overly-loved, then it would be different. But that’s why dividends don’t lead the way. The underlying asset has to lead the way. Otherwise, you can still go backwards while earning dividends.
