Yeah, averaging down is a HUGE key to the secret sauce of what we have.
Being super picky, fundamentally, about what we enter and how fundamentally cheap we start investing is part of it. Tweaking entries/exits with technicals and sentiment too. But after that fundamentally sound/cheap starting point, our other two wide-spread tranches does wonders for us in probability of success, in terms of % gains, and it also makes it to where most of the time a stock never has to re-enter an uptrend in order for us to have a % gain like someone would have in an uptrend. It allows us to get in at much lower P/E’s, less risks, yet with still a very favorable risk-to-return scenario.
Yep, agreed, I’m against “all in”. Correct.
